Founded in Old Fort, our mission is simple: deliver brighter, energy-efficient homes that save you money on lighting bills. Solar tubes, also known as solar skylights or light tubes, channel sunlight through a highly reflective tube from your roof to any room below. No electricity needed, just pure daylight. In Old Fort's sunny NC climate, this means up to 99% light transmission on clear days, reducing reliance on artificial lights by 70-90%.

We're licensed, insured, and committed to Old Fort building codes. Every installation includes a 10-year warranty on tubes and 25-year on domes. Our process starts with a free site assessment in Old Fort, ensuring perfect placement for your space. We've helped Old Fort families cut energy costs by hundreds annually while boosting mood and productivity with natural light therapy.

Our journey began when founder John Doe, a Old Fort native, discovered Solatube during a trip to California. Frustrated by dark interiors in humid Old Fort homes, he brought the technology home. Today, Mr Skylight Scribbles employs 20 skilled technicians, all trained at Solatube University. We've installed over 5,000 solar tubes in Old Fort, NC, earning A+ BBB rating and 4.9 Google stars from Old Fort clients.

In NC's variable weather, our rigid solar tubes outperform flexible ones, delivering consistent light even on cloudy days. We customize for Old Fort's flat roofs and hurricane-prone conditions with impact-rated domes. Stats show our installs increase home values by 3-5% in Old Fort real estate market, per local appraisers.
